Scheduling and Project Work

We will communicate any changes to scheduling as soon as reasonably possible. Access to the property, and preparation of the work area as agreed upon, is the responsibility of the homeowner unless otherwise specified in the project agreement.

Payment Terms

Payment terms, including any deposit requirements, progress payments, and final payment, are outlined in your individual project agreement or invoice. Late payments may be subject to the terms described in that agreement. Acceptance of a proposal or deposit payment constitutes agreement to the associated project terms.

Workmanship Warranty

L&J Painting Group stands behind the quality of our work. Specific warranty coverage, including our workmanship warranty period, is provided in writing with your project agreement. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and does not cover damage caused by normal wear, improper maintenance, structural movement, moisture intrusion unrelated to our work, or alterations made by others after project completion. Manufacturer warranties on paint and materials are separate from, and in addition to, our workmanship warranty and are governed by the applicable manufacturer's terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Connecticut law, L&J Painting Group LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this Site or the performance of our services, beyond the value of the services provided. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable Connecticut or New York consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Licensing and Insurance

L&J Painting Group LLC is licensed and insured in accordance with applicable Connecticut and New York requirements for residential painting contractors. Proof of licensing and insurance is available upon request.
